Beitar Jerusalem forward, Richmond Boakye Yiadom has been given a return to the national team by head coach Milovan Rajevac.
The 28-year-old has been named in the 28-man squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa this month.
The former Juventus striker has not played for the Black Stars since the 1-1 draw with Egypt in December 2017, but will have the opportunity to become a regular in the team after being invited for the games in November.
Boakye-Yiadom, who now plies his trade for Beitar Jerusalem after signing a deal earlier in July has been quite decent for his squad this season, scoring two goals in eight appearances in the Israeli Premier League.
The once upon a time the prolific striker has scored five goals in 13 games for the senior national team and could add to that number in the coming days.
