European football has seen thousands of Ghanaian footballers represent various European football clubs but which Ghanaian footballers have won the most trophies whilst playing for mainstream European teams?

1.Michael Essien 13 trophies
Essien won four trophies with Lyon before joining Chelsea to add nine more honors to his trophy cabinet. The Ghanaian won the 2012 Champions League with the Blues but the midfielder enforcer was remained an unused substitute in the final match against Bayern Munich.
2.Kwadwo Asamoah 13 trophies
The former Asokwa Deportivo player enjoyed six years filled with honors at Juventus winning the Serie A six times and the Coppa Italia four times. Kwadwo also added 3 Italian Super Cups to take his totall trophy count to 13 with the current team of Cristiano Ronaldo.
3.Sule Muntari 9 trophies
The former Liberty Professionals midfielder won his first trophy in European football with Premier League side Portsmouth after his team defeated Cardiff City by 2-0 to lift the 2008 FA Cup with Sule playing the full 90 minutes of that final at the historic Wembley stadium.
The scorer of a World Cup quarterfinal goal against Uruguay lifted further eight cups with Inter Milan including two Serie A titles and a Champions League – for which Sule , unlike Michael Essien, came off the bench to replace Giran Pandev in the 79th minute as the Italians led 2-0. With the Ghanaian player on the pitch Inter did not conceded as finished the game with the same scoreline of 2-0.
4.Jordan Ayew 6 trophies
Jordan Ayew left boyhood club Marseille in 2014 after winning six titles with the French giants. That included the 2009/20 Ligue 1 and 3 Coupe de la Ligue honors.
