Former Ghana coach James Kwasi Appiah, has offered a piece of advice to he newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah on the things he should be doing to restore the lost glory moments of the great club.
The 2019 GFA presidential candidate has been appointed on a three-year contract by the Board and is expected to turn the fortunes of the club around.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s appointment has received some good and well wishes from the football fraternity and authorities.
Appiah, 62, says the new CEO should focus on at least developing a 4-5 year development plan for the club to enable him to assemble a more fearsome and formidable team capable of conquering Africa.
And the Asante Kotoko legend who won valuable trophies during his playing days at the club believes doing so will help the club build a formidable team in order to compete very well domestically and internationally through the blend of quality young and experienced players.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Osei TV’s YouTube Channel, Appiah said: ”We need to plan a 4-5 year project to build a formidable team in order to compete very well domestically and internationally through the blend of quality young and experienced players,”
