Ghanaian midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei scored his first goal of the season for Greuther Fürth in the German Bundesliga 2 against SV Sandhausen.
The nephew of former Black Stars defender, Hans Adu Sarpei netted his team’s first goal of their 3-2 win at home to move second on the league table.
Six minutes into the first half of the game, Paul Seguin set up Nunoo from outside the box and the Ghanaian’s thunderstorm strike went straight into the top center of the goal post to put the Green and Whites in a deserving lead very early in the game.
The game ended 3-2 to Greuther Fürth who now occupy the second position on the league table with three games left to the end of the season.
Nunoo Sarpei, 22 played 68 minutes of the match before going off and has a goal and assist to his name in 26 games this campaign.
