Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored a brace for Red Star Belgrade as they whitewashed Proleter 4-0 in the Serbian Super Liga on Sunday night.
Boakye-Yiadom continued his imperious form for the Red and White lads with a brace in front of their innumerable teeming fans at the Stadion Rajko Mitić.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring for his side on the 35th minute after latching onto a pass from Branko Jovicic.
Marko Marin and Mirko Ivanic scored in the second half to give the visitor a commanding lead before Boakye-Yiadom magical struck again on the 82nd minute to seal an impressive win for Red Star Belgrade.
Boakye- Yiadom has so far netted 11 goals in 14 caps this season for the Serbian giants.
Meanwhile, former Hearts of Oak captain Joseph Owusu-Bempah made a short appearance for the losers while Rashid Sumaila had to watch the entire duration of the match from the bench.
