Ghana captain Andre Ayew is hoping the Black Stars will kick starr their quest for qualification for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with a win against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
The four time African champions will host South Africa on Thursday at the Cape Coast Stadium before traveling to face São Tomé four days later.
Speaking to reporters after the team’s first training session in Accra on Monday, the Swansea City vice skipper stressed the importance of getting a positive result in their Group C opener.
“We have to make sure we start this qualification series really well so we are preparing for this game against South Africa on Thursday,” Ayew said.
The game kicks off at exactly 7pm.
