Ghanaian powerhouse Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will miss the services of Brazilian star Vincius Silva da Morais when they take on Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, 11th April.
The tall striker on Wednesday afternoon scored his first league goal for the Porcupine Warriors in his first game when Kotoko thrashed spineless Bechem United FC 4-0.
After his dream debut, fans of the club were expecting to see him play against Chelsea but head coach Mariano Barreto has revealed that the striker will not be available for the match.
Mariano Barreto “Vinicius is not ready, we played him because we didn’t have many players,”
“He came in, he tried and he was at the right place at the right time and he scored the goal. This is good for anyone, especially if you score with your second touch of the game.
The Red and Whites will face the Bibires tomorrow at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi at 3pm.
