Qarabağ FK and Ghana forward Kwabena Owusu has revealed his dream to play for Asante Kotoko before he hangs his boot.
According to the former Leganes and Accra SC striker, Kotoko is a great team and a family that he always want to play in future.
Owusu who joined Azerbaijani club Qarabağ FK this year from Leganes on a three-year contract after his loan spell with Spanish club Córdoba, insists he will only play for Kotoko should he return home to play in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
Speaking on Hot FM ‘Focal Sports’, Owusu said, “I am Asante Kotoko fan and it’s my dream that one day I will wear the red jersey and play for Asanteman,’’
He added that ‘’There is a lot of good things about the club that drives my love for the reds.’’
The 23-year-old striker also spent 1-year on loan at Toledo where he scored 8 goals in 34 appearances.
He was a member of the Black Stars team that exited the 2019 African Cup of Nations tournament at the round of sixteen stage in Egypt.
