Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have officially confirmed the teams decision to play their games at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
The Ghanaian giants request to move their home matches to Obuasi have been approved by the Ghana Premier League club licensing board following approval of the Football Association.
Asante Kotoko will become the second team to move their games to the Len Clay Stadium after Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo SC moved there at the beginning of the Ghana Division One League.
Due to the closure of the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium for renovation works to be carried out, the Porcupine Warriors opted to play their first round of games in the Ghana Premier League as well as their CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
The second round of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League resumes on Friday April 2nd as Ashantigold SC who are the owners of the stadium travels to Anyinase to take on Karela United and the Porcupines face Eleven Wonders in Techiman on Saturday.
