The Italian-born Ghana striker has expressed delight after scoring on his international debut game for Ghana.
The Leeds United loanee powered Coach Kwasi Appiah’s side to victory against Kenya in the final Nations Cup qualification game at the Accra Sports Stadium with a fine left footed strike on the 83rd minute.
“It’s quite amazing,” Ekuban told reporters “The first thing, as a striker, you want to do is to score so when you get the opportunity and you score it feels like it is not even real.
”I am really happy.” he added
The budding striker has scored four goals in 21 appearances for Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
Ekuban joined Trabzonspor on a season long deal from English Championship club Leeds United.
