Newly Appointed Executive Board chairman of Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei has ordered inhabitants around the Kotoko training grounds to clear off crops planted on the club’s land.
A deep source within the new administrative set up of the Kumasi based football club revealed to sportsworldghana.com, the decision has become necessary after the new chairman has thought it wise to build mini pitches around the main training pitch.
With the new idea by the new King, Dr. Kyei has given the farmers who farm on the land a grace period to clear all crops as the management intents to fence the whole land.
Kotoko have only one functional pitch at the Adako jachie training center, a peripheral one on the other hand has been overgrown with weeds.
