Europa League: Mohammed Kudus’s AFC Ajax handed a ‘tricky’ tie against Young Boys

Ghanaian prodigy Mohammed Kudus and his AFC Ajax Amsterdam teammates have been handed a very tricky tie in the UEFA Europa League round of 16 games against Young Boys.

The Dutch Eredivisie giants AFC Ajax Amsterdam defeated French Ligue 1 table toppers, LOSC Lille on a 4-2 aggregate score in the round of 32 matches with a 2-1 in both home and away matches.

Kudus, after missing out on Champions League games due to injuries will have a second chance to make a mark for himself in Europe but this time in the UEFA Europa League.

The Dutch side face a tough task as they have been paired with Swiss powerhouse Young Boys FC in the round of 16 games in the competition.

Young Boys easily dispatched German Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen with a 4-3 first-leg win and toppled it up with a famous 2-0 win away in Germany to secure a place in the round of 16 games.

The first leg of the tie will be played in the Netherlands on 11th March before the second leg in Switzerland on March 18.

Kudus after returning from injury scored in the Eredivisie and will be full of belief to make a meaningful impact on the outcome of the tie when the two teams face off next month.
