Portuguese champions FC Porto are on the heels of Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah.
The experienced wing-back is a free agent after terminating his contract with Inter Milan last month through mutual agreement.
SPORTSwordGHana.com understands that FC Porto manager Sergio Conceicao is looking for a veteran left-back to challenge 23-year-old new signing Zaidu Sanusi for a starting berth and has identified the 31-year-old Ghanaian as someone who can help his side.
