Former Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari is set to arrive in South Africa on Monday to begin talks with a DStv Premiership club.
The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner has been linked with Maritzburg United and Cape Town City even though he has come out openly about his desire to play for Kaizer Chiefs.
According to KickOff.com, the Ghana international will arrive in the country next week with the intention to sign for a PSL club.
“Muntari is on his way to South Africa,” the source said. “He is expected to land in South Africa on Monday to begin talks with one of the local teams.”
Muntari, 35, has his clearance in hand following a spell with Albacete in Spain and could join any team as a free agent.
