The Ghana international, who posted a farewell message to Swansea City on his social media platform didn’t rule out the chance of him returning to the Liberty Stadium in the future.
Andre Ayew has signed for Swansea on three different occasions since ending ties with French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
Ayew initially signed for Swansea as a free agent in the summer of 2015 on a free transfer before later sealing a move to rivals West Ham United the following year in a deal worth 24 million euros.
After just two-years with West Ham, the 31-year-old made a return to the Liberty Stadium before being shipped on loan to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in July 2018 for the 2018/19 season.
Speaking in his farewell video, the Black Stars captain did not rule out a return to Swansea in the future, saying: “I will be back.”
“I don’t know if as a player again, or just to come and see you a few times but I will be back because it is a club which I have in my heart.”
“I will never forget what you guys have done for me,” he added.
Ayew ended the 2020/21 campaign as the Jack’s top-scorer, scoring 17 goals in the build-up to the Championship play-offs final.
