Mr. Kojo Yankah, a Ghana Football Association president hopeful has questioned the motives behind the calls by the Association’s Executive to extend the mandate of the GFA Capo.
He’s raised concerns about the rational behind the calls for the mandate of Ghana’s FA president to be changed from eight years as ordered by the normalization Committee few years ago.
The former Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, is furious as he’s shown his disapproval of the proposal and has asked questions about the motives and rational behind the sudden calls for the extention under Kurt Okraku.
Yankah stated, “Is it that they are doing it for themselves? Just immediately after the eight years, or is it a long-term project they want to introduce?”, he quizzed.
“If it is a long-term project and we implement it maybe in the next few years, like five or six years, it is fine. But if it is immediate, I don’t think it is proper.”
