Budding Ghanaian coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu was fired by Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC after just into the 2021/22 season.
Ignatius Osei Fosu, Medeama scored just two points from three opening games for the former FA Champions.
Bechem United walloped Medeama SC 4-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in their season opener clash.
They were then held to a 1-1 draw at home to Premier League new boys, Gold Stars in the second week before stealing a point from the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman against Eleven Wonders in week three.
The controversial former Liberty Professionals and Eleven Wonders coach had been appointed to lead the Mauve and Yellow to glory following the departure of ex-Ghana internationals, Yaw Preko as head coach and Yaw Acheampong his assistant.
Unfortunately, Osei has had the shortest spell in his coaching career at Medeama.
Reasons for his sack was not really made known from the beginning regarding his sack but the club’s President and Bankroller, Moses Armah Parker has revealed why he decided to end the club’s relationship with Osei Fosu.
“Medeama sacked Ignatius Osei Fosu because we were not happy with his performance and as at now Medeama has paid all the money due him,” Moses Armah told Light FM.
“And those leaving the club is a blessing in disguise.
“Medeama is moving into a new direction,” he concluded.
