Division One League side Wamanafo Mighty Royals Chief Executive Officer, Ernest Osei Boateng has expressed disappointment at the clearance of Bolga All Stars to play in the next season’s Ghana Premier League after the Ethics Committee of the GFA dismiss the match-fixing and bribery allegation levelled against them.
Supporters of BA United alleged their side were bribed by the Upper East side during their Division One League match at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
The committee in its sitting which commenced September 15 revealed that the supporters lacked evidence leading to the case’s dismissal.
But Ernest Osei Boateng who is not pleased about the Ethics Committee ruling says his out will follow same process when the GN Bank Division one league starts to enable them qualify for next season’s elite division.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, he said “It’s appalling that after all the video evidence we presented to the Ethics Committee, they rule the case in favour of All Stars. There is not much to say about this but I can assure the FA that next season we’ll also pay bribe to qualify to the premiership”.
“Next season, the FA should bring cameras to the stadium but we’ll still go ahead and pay bribe, and no one can do anything about it.” he added.
