Black Stars first choice goalkeeper, Richard Ofori has begun pre-season training with South African team Maritzburg United.
The newly appointed deputy skipper of Ghana’s senior national team has officially resumed training with his club ahead of the 2020-21 season.
The 26-year-old shots stopper captained his team to a 7th placed finish in the 2019-20 PSL in the South African country.
After a poor run of form to the end of the season, the Ghanaian would be looking forward to a great season with Maritzburg in the upcoming season.
The former Wa All Stars safest pair of hands was made the second deputy captain of Black Stars by new head coach CK Akonnor.
