Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm that Chris Hughton, the new coach of the Ghana national football team, is earning a monthly salary of $50,000.
The 64-year-old former Irish international signed a two-year deal, subject to performance review, following the resignation of Otto Addo after Ghana’s early exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Hughton is being assisted by George Boateng and Didi Dramani, who worked with the team during the World Cup play-off games against Nigeria and retained their positions for the tournament.
In his tenure so far, Hughton has managed two games and earned four points against Angola.
