Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has named his all-time Black Stars starting XI.
The former Juventus star’s best staring XI included players who featured for the Black Stars between the period of 2000 to 2010 with the exception of Abedi Pele.
Appiah,who led the four-time African champions to its maiden World Cup in Germany 2006 named Richard Olele Kingson in post.
He also named Frank Amankwah and Patrick Allotey playing the right-back and left-back positions respectively.
Making the central defensive pair were former Bayern Munich star Samuel Osei Kuffour and John Mensah.
Appiah who was appearing on GTV Sports Plus as a panel for a live retelecast of the FIFA 2006 World Cup in Germany, named himself, Laryea Kingston, Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari in a powerful midfield quartet.
Three-time African footballer of the year Abedi Pele and Ghana’s all-time leading top scorer Asamoah Gyan lead his attack.
