Ghanaian attacker, Joseph Esso scored again for Mouloudia club d’alger in the Algeria Ligue 1 on Saturday evening against NC Magra on the road.
The Ghanaian international forward grabbed his fourth league goal of the season since his move to the club from Dreams FC for the Green and Reds in the Algerian capital.
Akram Demane scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up on the 25th of the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Eleven minutes later, the 24-year-old Ghanaian forward netted the equalizer to draw his team level on the 36th minute mark with nine minutes left to play before the end of the game.
After the break, both teams pushed forward for the second goal but both wasted some good chances.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, Magra were awarded a spot kick and Nadir Korichi made no mistake in slotting the ball home from 12 yards to restore the home team’s lead.
The game ended 2-1 against Joseph Esso’s team MC Alger.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak SC darling boy has scored four goals and provided three assists in the Algeria top-flight league.
