Ghana’s Kwadwo Duah was among the scorers for when FC St Gallen thrashed Young Boys FC in the round 16 clash of the 2020-21 Switzerland Cup competition.

The 24-year-old scored the second goal for the Green and Whites against his former team on the 50th-minute mark in the second half after Chukwubuike Adamu from Nigeria had given the home team the lead after 33 minutes in the first half.

Christian Fassnacht grabbed an equalizer for the Yellow and Blacks three minutes after Duah’s goal to reduce the deficit to one with over 30 minutes left on the clock.

Six minutes from full time, Víctor Ruiz restored the home team’s two-goal advantage when he expertly converted a spot-kick to make it 3-1.

Just before the final whistle, Jeremy Guillemenot made it 4-1 to St Gallen as they secured a quarter-final berth in the Swiss Cup with a thumping win over Young Boys.
