Aduana Stars produced a magnificent display to pick their first win of the Normalisation Committee’s Special Competition by beating Eleven Wonders at Nana Agyeman Badu Park on Wednesday.
The Ogya lads who lost their opening game 1-0 against Kotoko, took the lead through striker Yahaya Mohammed in the first half.
Abdulrahman Fatawu doubled the lead in the second half.
Former Kotoko striker Alex Asamoah however netted the only consolation goal for the Techiman based club.
The victory will thus boost the Dormaa -based club’s confidence ahead of their crucial clash against Ashgold.
Eleven Wonders, on the other hand, will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat when they welcome Kotoko to Techiman this weekend.
