Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Nana Asare registered his debut goal for Racing de Santander in their 1-1 draw against Club Portugalete last Sunday in the Spanish Segunda B division.

Thaylor Lubanzadio opened the scoring for Club Portugalete just after 13 minutes into the game before the Ghanaian international pulled parity for Racing de Santander in the 80th minute mark of the game.

Asare joined the Los Montañeses on a one-year deal as a free-agent after leaving UE Cornella this summer.

The 26-year-old was a mainstay in the UE Cornella team that played the promotion playoff to LaLiga Smartbank last season.

Asare began his career in Spain at the Real Sociedad Deportiva Alcalá , with whose first team he made his debut in Second Division B in the 2011/12 campaign.

He later played in the Rayo Vallecano and Atlético de Madrid second team before joining Recreativo, with which he played nine games in LaLiga SmartBank in the 2014/15 academic year.

The central midfielder has played more than 170 matches in Second Division B in teams such as Cádiz, Fuenlabrada, Mérida, Badalona and Cornella. In addition, the Ghanaian has experience in playoff games, having played a total of nine games.
