The Black Stars despite being at the finals in 2010 and in 2015 where they lost to Egypt and Ivory Coast respectively have failed to Ghana its fifth title since last winning it 1982.
”Our target must be 2021. The current crop cannot win in 2019,” the former Bayern Munich star told the media during the unveiling of the top 3 players for the CAF footballer of the year”.
”I think we need to do more, we need to prepare very well and make sure we are ready.
”It is not easy as we think, every country will be going for the title and they will be preparing very well and so we must also do well to prepare.”
